Docker CEをLinux Mint 18.3 Sylvia 64bitにインストールする

2.1 リポジトリの設定

リポジトリの設定に必要なパッケージをインストールする．

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install \
    apt-transport-https \
    ca-certificates \
    curl \
    software-properties-common

Docker公式GPGキーを追加する．

$ curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add -

Fingerprintによりキーを確認する．

$ sudo apt-key fingerprint 0EBFCD88

以下のように表示されればよい．

pub   4096R/0EBFCD88 2017-02-22
      Key fingerprint = 9DC8 5822 9FC7 DD38 854A  E2D8 8D81 803C 0EBF CD88
      uid                  Docker Release (CE deb) <docker@docker.com>
      sub   4096R/F273FCD8 2017-02-22

リポジトリを設定する．

$ sudo add-apt-repository \
   "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \
   xenial \
   stable"

2.2 Docker CEのインストール

Docker CEをインストールする．

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install docker-ce

2.3 動作確認

hello-worldイメージを実行して，動作を確認する．

$ sudo docker run hello-world

以下のように表示されればよい．

Unable to find image 'hello-world:latest' locally
latest: Pulling from library/hello-world
ca4f61b1923c: Pull complete 
Digest: sha256:66ef312bbac49c39a89aa9bcc3cb4f3c9e7de3788c944158df3ee0176d32b751
Status: Downloaded newer image for hello-world:latest

2.4 dockerグループに所属

ユーザをdockerグループに所属させると，sudoコマンドを使用せずにdockerコマンドが使用できる．自分をdockerグループに所属させる．

$ sudo gpasswd -a $USER docker

$ id

sudoコマンドなしでdockerコマンドが使用できるか確認する．

$ docker run hello-world
